Thanks for the quick response. It seems that software is the biggest bang next to a better turbo. Who offers the best software upgrade and what kind of HP gains should I expect? What are your experiences with your software upgrade from MTM and what's their wedsite info?

There are several reliable softare tuners:

APR (goapr.com)
GIAC (www.giacusa.com)
Revo (www.revotechnik.com)

Go with the software whose dealer is closest to you in case you need support later on.

MTM is a bit more rare and a lot more expensive generally. Contact Hoppen (www.hoppenmotorsport.com). I chose to go with MTM because I consider it one of the more reliable setups (imo).

All stage 1 setups (software upgrade) have about the same power levels. I'd suggest going directly to the stage 1+ setup (software + upgraded injectors). You'll also want an intercooler upgrade (DSMIC or FMIC), an exhaust upgrade and ideally a clutch upgrade. All those things are not needed, but are highly recommended.
