Hey, I am new poster here but a long time reader, and previous owner of a 2002 and 2004 A4, both of which I sold. And I miss my Audis! So, I am buying back in. I have an opportunity to buy a 2003 A4, 3.0, Quattro, Sport Package, etc etc. for $24,000. It has 22,000 miles on it. No accidents. 1 owner. Seems like a good deal..what do you guys think? Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

which is inevitable if you stick around on these boards...the 3.0 is not the most tunerable car. I knew this going into my 3.0, but had plans of doing PES's sc G3 kit. So just know that on the 3.0 you either can only go big, or just get moderate gains from other small mods such as intercooler, intake, exhaust etc. Chips are almost pointless on em. Also, mpg on this car sucks really bad. I probably get 16mpg in the city. You might have a little more fun with a 1.8T depending on what your looking for. It's plenty more tunerable, and better mpg.

Yea, not planning on doing much. My previous 2 were 1.8's..and loved them. Gas mileage not a big concern. Mainly just curious what others thought of the price for the car. I do appreciate your honesty though about your car!

the MPG are really terrible... i might as well have an S4 for the kind of mileage i get
(but i have a tiptronic which only makes it worse)
looking back... the 3.0 is a little slow for my liking and nothing was really available without breaking the bank to help that
i definitely atleast recommend a 6 speed... thats been a big regret since day 1... and a mistake im not making again

I think I had just a tad more fun with that turbo. None the less, I still love my 3.0. =). By the way, yea that was my facebook.
