Sorry if this question has been asked many times before.
Any recommendations on where to buy replacement bulbs? I have an '02 A4 1.8T and my right rear is out. I am recently out of warrantee and every other time I had lights go out I just had the dealership do it.
The parts sites linked to from Audiworld showed me some bubs that were like 250$/bulb. Is that how much they really are? I have regular non-xenon lights.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

the display just says "right rear light"
the signal light works and when you look at the light from the rear it looks like there are 2 lights behind the red plastic. the one on the right works and the one on the left is out (it is the bigger of the 2 sections of red plastic).
I'm alone so I'm not sure what happens when I tap the brakes.

Take out the burnt bulb and go into any auto part store to find a replacement? They're not outrageously uncommon (I bought a pair of the brake dual-filament bulbs from Canadian Tire, eg)

I could do that. I didn't know if the bulbs were common or not. I really don't know much about this sort of thing. I just get in the car turn the key and drive.
thanks for the suggestion
