This is my 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro with a Dalan Hitch. It's pretty small and fastens to the spare wheel housing. It's rated for 2000 lb gross trailer weight and 200 lb tongue weight. The factory tow bar is bent tubing, not solid bar. It'll bend before the hitch bends. I paid 399.29 including wiring kit; installed by Sport Rack. I've only used it to carry a Bauer Bike Carrier, no towing. Sorry, I don't have any close-up shots.

Default Why would we flame you?

In Europe more cars have hitch than not. It's only here in the US where people think you need a F-350 Super Duty to haul a pair of waverunners.

I'll put one on as soon as I have the funds for a waverunner!

You're exactly right about the whole F350 thing - it kills me. I'd love to have a tow vehicle if I could, but the A4 should pull a jet-ski or 2 around just fine. I wasn't really serious about the flaming thing - I've just caught grief from several friends who don't think a hitch will look so great on the car. I say - who cares. Jet-skiing is more important.

Hope you get some waverunners soon.
