Default That would look really good. Don't know what you would do about the
big release tab in the middle. Maybe buff it to clean metal and clear coat it so it stays clean.

do you know if that rubber boot can be purchased at the dealer? I have one ripped now.

Default I heard (and i could be wrong) that the boot isnt sold separately and
...not to be too worried about as most people are driving with cracked, dont know it and wont notice any depletion in braking ability.

Don't quote me on this one as I vaguely remember reading about this while searching the archives (which i suggest you do yourself) a few months ago.

I think you can get a rebuilt kit? I'd call up clair or carson or GAP and check

It should be available in the caliper soft parts /rebuild kit from Euro aftermarket parts stores.
