that's the best i've seen, short of bead-blasting and powdercoating!

what kind of clear coat did you use?

sandblasting with aluminum oxide really cleans the caliper...

Here is a pic of the sanblasted caliper beside the other one.

I did a pair of rear calipers with a red Cerakote ceramic coating after sandlbasting them.

Thanks... I used Duplicolor high heat stuff that you can find at most Autozones for both the

paint and clear coat

That boot is not replaceable...

I completely disassembled my HP2 calipers for powdercoating, and that dustboot is fused (or glued?) into the caliper. It does NOT come off and is NOT replaceable.

Those turned out nice! I wish I had ground down the casting marks on mine before powdercoating. Hindsight is 50/50...
