I was assuming around 20% drivetrain loss, which is a bit conservative; So 205 / .8 = 256.25

Default Drivetrain loss isn't linear, i believe Paul 858 can explain this as i understand it but cant...

explain it well

Default Well, I know it's more complicated than a simple %, but for a ballpark number that works. Some (m)

people prefer to use closer to 25% for Quattro.

For reference, in 4th gear my numbers were 158 hp and 184 lb/ft, if i remember right

That's 198hp & 230lb/ft- Those are about right for most chips- What chip do you have?

Default my first run on my first dynos were done in chipped mode

but then when we switched to stock did 2 runs switched back, and did 2 more runs chipped and the numbers were the same minus a little for heat soak...

Default I understand what your saying..I was just saying

that the only time I really felt a difference between programs was when I was orginally chipped and re chipped and the ECU put back in the car.

Default If your stock mode is putting the same power, then the ECU hasn't really adopted....

You must allow time for the new settings to go in effect and that takes anywhere from a few hours to a day that's all I'm saying. But if you switch back to stock from chip mode and drive the car for a few hours and it feels the same as when it did in chip mode, then there is something wrong.
