Hi Guys!
Try to briefly describe the problem
A month ago I bought a used 2002 audi a4 quattro 1.8l turbo car.
The engine light was on. the first step was to replace serpentine belt, timing belt, and oil.
Then read out the code, which said cam chain tensioner, but no abnormal sound could not be heard. So I erased the code but it came back. tried it three times, indicated over and over again. Some guys said that whatever there is no abnormal engine sound and the engine is quiet, the chain tensioner will be the problem. I replaced the tensioner with seals. the replacement helped because the engine light did not come back again, but now hear a loud chain noise from the tensioner. the engine is running normally after 6-8 hours run but the noise does not go away.
I checked the oil pressure when the engine is warm
*
Idling rpm: 18 psi
2000 rpm: 45 psi
3,000 rpm: 65 psi
the noise why does not go away if that was not earlier ?
Thanks in advance for any ideas and advice
