Can anyone confirm this part number for a turbo? 058-145-703J
Friend at work had a turbo replaced in their 2003 1.8T Passat and the dealer told them it was a new 'bigger' turbo from a 2.0T. I didn't know whether or not the 2.0T had a bigger turbo (I assumed it would be the same).
Can anyone confirm the part number?

no chance, bull****. the 2.0fsi has the hot side as part of the manifold
the 1.8t has a more traditional seperate manifold turbo. the 2.0 has a different turbo it should flow a bit more.
A dealer would never put a part on the car did not belong there.
