Default Go to search, and get a jack with stands (sold as a set).

Use the stands too!

Even their most inexpensive set is perfectly suitable.

Default For oil changing I recommend ramps

Ramps are easier, and safter. I recommend Rhino Ramps. You should be able to get them at most auto parts stores or even Walmart

Rhino Ramps

Sams's has some nice jacks. A big steel Michelin for like $60. I got aluminium racing jack for $130.

Default Costco: Arcan 3 1/2 ton , quick lift jack for $68

I've got two other Craftsman and they are garbage. Arcan also makes an aluminium jack but they are fairly costly and don't have as much capacity. One great thing about that Arcan jack is that its low entry, so sports or lowered cars are not as much a problem.

Nice thing about trucks/SUV's. I've been there in my truck phase.

Default ? for you.....

I know you have your garage floor epoxy'ed. I've had mine done for a couple years too. It seems that my ramps (even though they have the rubber pad in the front) seem to slip more than they ever did before I coated my floor. Do you notice the same? I can still get up on them, but sometimes it may take more than one try.

Default The epoxy is slick.

I have some scratches I'll have to repair from the first time I tried to use them after coating.

I've found if I'm really careful they won't slide.

I have the most problems with the Cobra. The A4 with auto tranny and AWD just walks right up them.

You could try putting one of those flat yellow rubber parking stops under the front.
