Can anyone recommend a good - not too xpensive jack for oil changing? What weight rating? Thanks.

on the Bronco.
The oil pan is about 24" from the floor as the truck sits.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Downside is I have to use oversize parking at the airport meaning I have to hike further.

It's taken some major abuse on one section of it (where my junker is) and probably needs to be recoated. Yes when my ramps slide they scratch the hell out the epoxy.

I've found if you get a hole in it and then park a wet tire over that hole it'll lift off when you move again.
The cheap roller I used put fuzz into the paint.
I'm thinking of going over the whole floor with a Scotch Brite pad then applying a new coat with a sprayer.
Maybe after I do everything else I want in the garage. At $35 a gallon that epoxy gets expensive quickly.

from making a mess? I mean, dripping all over the cross members below the filter. Not a big mess, but not necessarily clean.

On the 3.0 it's mounted to some sort of housing at the left front of the crankcase and it's a straight shot for drips to fall into the pan. No crossmembers in the way.
Now my Cobra on the other hand makes a mess on the steering rack every time I change it.

the hot tires have rested on the floor. There are almost 4 areas (one for each tire) where epoxy is missing. I need to redo my whole floor and put it on real THICK!!

backwards w/o disconnecting the hoses. It's a pita especially of some Tutonic Gorilla tightened it. DIY it loose so it's easier next time. I think a big filter can go through 2 fluid changes and 20k mi, so pumping the oil out with an extractor is not a bad option.
