Can I go from OEM xenon to S4 bixenon ecodes by swapping bulbs and projectors?

At ECS it reads like you have to already have bi-xenons. Can you go from ecode Xenons...

...straight to the bi-xenons by just swapping parts?

Yes, it can be done: you just swap the bulbs.

So you can start with straight Xenons and end up with Bi?

And, yes, that sounds so wrong but is it right?
