Can a lease be refinanced?
#4
You are looking to buy out your lease ? Or re-lease it ?
In either case, you likely got the most favourable terms when leasing new. Did you put down a large amount up front ? Are you looking to lower payments, get cash out up front, etc ?
A lease is never designed to give you equity. You pay only for the amount of car you are anticipated to use. Except for some rare occasions, your residual and money factor are best on new cars - espcially since AoA has run some good deals. Now if you feel that you didn't get the best terms, you might look around to see if AFS, a Credit Union, or bank, might offer a more aggressive lease. But keep in mind that you would be leasing a used car.
How long have you had your lease ? What are the terms of the lease ? You can e-mail me directly, if you would rather not post that info here.
