Default Can somebody help me figure WTF is up with my lights?

Couple days ago, I got a nearly simultaneous error message that my left front turn signal and parking light were out. I assume they're both the same bulb, so no biggie, I'll change it as soon as I figure out how to get to it (can't be too hard, can it?) Later on, I got another message that my left rear light (not brake, not turn signal, but parking light) was out. Turns out it lights fine, but as soon as I turn on the left blinker, it goes out and does not come back on when I turn the blinker off. Given the temporal proximity, I can only assume one caused the other. Does this sound like some kind of computer thing, where the rapid blinking you get when one of your turn signals is out somehow causes the parking light to go out, so fixing the blinker will also fix the rear parking light?

Probably have both bulbs going out. Change them both.

Default How do I get to the rear light? There's a nut behind a circular cutout in the trunk...

Do I just unscrew this and pull out the entire assembly?

Default Same thing happened to me with the rear light...

Sometimes the A4 has a problem with the type of bulb used on the rear parking lights... Make sure that the bulb is a factory bulb from Audi because sometimes if you try to put High Intensity bulbs in,, the circuts think that the bulb is not the correct bulb and therefore the light goes out.. I had the same thing wrong with my 3.0 when i changed the rear parking light with a superwhite bulb because the original blew out... I was getting error messages all the time.. It would come on and go off all the time...

As for the front light... The turn signal and the front parking light are the same bulb.. So if both of them are out,, just change the one turn signal bulb and you should be good... Audi's give the error messages separate because sometimes,, the parking light (the one that is on when your lights are on) burns out,, but the turn signal (the one that blinks) is still good...

Anyway hope I could help....
