First i removed the rear grill to expose the stock subwoofer.

I then used the adaptor in the pic and connected it to the subwoofer.

Here is the subwoofer harness. Just tap into that, ground the adaptor somewhere and pop the panel back on.

Oh and i used double sided tape, tucked the adaptor underneath one of the panels and connected it to the aftermarket amplifier. It fits very snug under there.

the larger black plug has more pins to cover and the smaller yellow one doesnt seem to do the job so im lost now. Also ther isnt another place to plug it in. only one space...*scrathes head*...i know this thing has got to work somehow...
PS did i mention i hate electronics...they are SO confusing...why cant someone make them color coded like on the Dell computers?...lol

the frequencies below 70 hz. the factory sub takes care of the frequencies just above that. I thought about replacing it but there arent many subs out there that can be used for free-air applications such as this.

saying that having both subs hooked up... stock and aftermarket... would sound weird or something...? didn't make sense to me.
are you happy with your setup? rattles?

when i have a chance. There are hardly any rattles if any at all.
I have heard of some folks removing the stock sub so that more bass from the trunk can come into the cabin, but I don't think it would make that much of a difference.
