Once upon a time...
...they were the same country. Now they're separate. This urban legend is so old it's from before they were separated. Or do you only know about current events?

handsfree install
yeah I can tell you that my nokia 8890 works fine w/ out an external antenna and I have had other friends use their phones w/ no problems.
I even have my handsfree kit installed in the dash behind the driver side air vent..no problems at all.

Both phones work fine
Both my NEXTEL i85s and Verizon StarTAC work fine. I do get a little bit of feedback in the radio from the NEXTEL, but I get it at home (stereo), computer monitor, and TV as well.
