Forgot what it was Motortrend or Caranddriver or one of those. Manual is still faster but it wasn't behind by much. Main thing is convenience.

because they compared the SMG II version against their "long-term" M3.
Long-term cars always accelerate faster than when new. They pulled off a 0-60 in 4.8 secs. using SMG II Manual Mode.
They beat this by 0.3 seconds using their long-term regularly clutched M3.
I don't recall anyone ever pulling off a 4.5 sec 0-60 when the M3 was brand new, so I can only conclude that their long-term car has been broken-in very well![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The best time I've heard so far was 4.6 secs. for an M3 SMG II, but I can't remember which mag did this.

ZF makes a sequential tranny, I'm sure you'll see it in an Audi any day now, or the S"M"G II box.
