car start problem

Today I went to my chiropractors office, and after I parked, I turned my car off immediately by accident, as I usually let the car idle for 1-2 minutes before shutting it off. When I left, I tried to start my car, it fired up, and then died. I cranked it again, and this time it started no problem.
Would this be related to the fact that I didn't cool my turbo down before shutting the car off?

My situation is different from the original posters, but I think he may have fouled his plugs out.
Here is my story and experiences with Audi...
I never had this problem until I bought an Audi. In my stock B5 2.8 I started having starting problems with I would start the cold engine to move it, then would immediately shut it off. The next day or hours later it would either have a very very hard time starting or I would throw mis-fire codes on startup. I learned that for some reason my engine ran really rich on startup, and you need time for the engine to run, or it seems to foul the plugs.
I started to let the engine run for 3 or 4 minutes when doing these quick car moves and never had a problem again. I've seen plenty of reports of the same on the stock 1.8t engine too. I've never experienced it on my 3.0 because I always let it run for a bit before shutting it down.
I don't know, that's my opinion and experience. I've also seen a lot of similar reports in the many fine years I've come to these forums.
