Catalytic Converters
I took my '96 A4 Q to the audi dealership for a sound under my car and they told me my cat's are done. They quoted $1,100 each cat. Why so much, and why can i find cat's on ecstuning.com for $89. Is $89 all I need to spend to get rid of the sound?

Why not remove the cats yourself hollow them out and reinstall them?
If you don't live in Ca you will pass any inspection your state may have and get the benifits of not running cats.
