Default CD Changer 13 pin DIN (where is it?)

I have a 2003 A4 Avant to which I'm wanting to add the CD Changer. I keep reading from multipule sources that there is a 13 pin DIN plug that is located in the drivers side trunk of all models.

So where is it? I've looked but don't see it and suspect that it is else where in the Avant since the CD Changer mounts in the glove box rather than in the trunk. Does anyone know?

Default That information is incorrect. They no longer prewire the A4 for CD changers (more)

because it mounts in the glove box, like you said. The dealer just runs the cable from the back of the head unit over to the glove box at the time of installation. (It takes two seconds to reach the cable over from behind, so I can see why Audi didn't bother with the cost of doing it at the factory)

If you want to add a trunk mounted CD changer instead of the glovebox one, you can still purchase the cable and run it to the trunk yourself.

Run it to the trunk yourself- sounds like a scary endeavor
