CEL P0102 MAF mass air flow sensor, now CEL is off
I replaced my MAF 2 times due to a CEL, mass error flow sensor code. After the second replace, the error code still remained on for 3 months (but I don't drive the car much, short trips every 1 or 2 weeks of a few miles per trip, to 35 miles roundtrip). I am wondering if the car took sometime to reset itself after the swap of MAF?
I have also checked the codes using a bluedriver which confirms for now that the CEL is gone. TO me it seems unlikely it took this long to reset. I can capture live diagnostics with the BlueDriver. Does any one know what I should be watching for?
Thanks

Standard procedure is to write the code down for reference (and for this thread) then clear it. Three months to clear on its own seems long if the problem was solved. Also, why use to BlueDriver device to confirm that the CEL is gone, and not just look at the instrument panel? Did you mean that you were concerned that a pending code remained?

Correct, used the blue driver to check for pending codes. I can't figure it out. I am sure most would advise to just wait and see, but I was hoping to be more proactive.
