Default Oh yeah, right. I keep forgetting people do 5k changes. An extra $500 dollars by warranty's end...

In NNJ, the going rate for a dealer change with synth is $100. Multiply that until the end of waranty, and it is $500 that could be spent better, imo. A set of tires or even a major repair is prefered to a change cycle that does not hep your engine. Short oci is a thing of the past.

Sweet, that beats asking the dealer to do it.

Maybe he just doesn't care for Mobil 1 oil (like me). Or he doesn't like using customers [own] oil..

Default Yeah, I did this; SID reset...

pg. 137 in manual.

Turn on engine while holding the "wrench" symbol [service] button. "Service" will be display. Then press "0,0" [zero mileage] button, until it is cleared.

Default There's no need to change in between with the Euro M1 5W-40.....

That's the whole point of using a better quality synth- longer mileage. Not shorter. 3-5K OCI's are archaic.

Where do you get euro spec M1. Is there a difference between US and euro spec mobile 1?
