Had my 02 3.0 A4 for 10+ months. It has started making a noise when I enter driveways or drive over uneven road like a speed bump, pot hole, etc.... It's like the chassis is flexing and creating gap at the one of the doors. I had a '99 1.8T for 3 years and never had this problem. Has anyone else noticed this?

Ive got coilovers and the sunroof creaks a bit on harsh bumps or cornering hard...normal IMO

I had the same flexing noise. I thought it was coming from the right side door as well. I took it to the dealer and we went for a test drive. The noise was there again but then the service rep tilted the sunroof and the noise was gone.... dealer adjusted the sunroof and the noise hasn't come back yet

Never had any problems with the sunroof. It's not just one door, they all do it depending on the angle, i.e.... drivers side tire or passenger tire first. Someone else suggested a chassis stiffener bar but as this is a lease I don't want to modify the car.

Had the same problem. Had some rattling noise from the left rear side when driving over speed bumps or making turns across the camber in the road, etc. Took it to the dealer they lubed the driver side rear door and noise was gone. But if it sounds like its coming from above its probably the sunroof. A little lube and you should be ok.

Mine does that too. I lubed the rubber seals on the sunroof and in the doors...helped a lot.
