Chip reprogramming questions...(changing prog. for A4 chip to S4 program)

I have an APR chip in my A4 and also have a home programmer... can i remove the chip from my A4s ECU and reprogram it with S4 Software and have it installed in my new S4s ECU? TIA!!!

my guess is you wont be able to do a direct transfer...BUT im sure APR will give you a deal on

a chip for the S4

thought steve s said it was possible?

might not have been him... did you not try to contact anyone at apr? or is this on the dl and wish for them not to know
