Chipping a leased A4?

to be certain, I'd check before you do any mods to the car. I least my last car, and they made it clear to me they didn't want mods done--or I'd have to pay to restore to original condition.
A chip seems like a small thing, but if it affects the warranty, the bank may care.

I saved the OEM chip and put it back in before turning in the car. I ended up selling the used chip to a friend with a B5.

chipped it, dv valve, and changed the front engine mount. I really don't care! I can always change everything back. Besides I may purchase the car, if not oh well. I bought my VW and modded it up and ended up trading it in after a year with the aftermarket suspension on the car. They had no idea. If I give the car back I will take the chip and sell it. Why let them have it? The chip never goes bad. They aren't potato chips! The chip is as good as new, even 3 years down the road.
