Default Chipping a leased A4?

Are there any additional chipping concerns for a lease over a purchase? Do you need to pull the chip out when turning in the car?

Default I imagine it depends on the lender, so...

to be certain, I'd check before you do any mods to the car. I least my last car, and they made it clear to me they didn't want mods done--or I'd have to pay to restore to original condition.
A chip seems like a small thing, but if it affects the warranty, the bank may care.

Default Chipped my leased B5 and didn't have any problems when turning it in.

I saved the OEM chip and put it back in before turning in the car. I ended up selling the used chip to a friend with a B5.

Default

Get an APR and flick it back to stock with the signal lever at lease-up.

Default My A4 is leased and I have....

chipped it, dv valve, and changed the front engine mount. I really don't care! I can always change everything back. Besides I may purchase the car, if not oh well. I bought my VW and modded it up and ended up trading it in after a year with the aftermarket suspension on the car. They had no idea. If I give the car back I will take the chip and sell it. Why let them have it? The chip never goes bad. They aren't potato chips! The chip is as good as new, even 3 years down the road.
