Default I use the P21S kit on our black 986....

It works really well on dark paints. I use 3M new car wax on our silver Audi.

Default That's good to know.

Hey, can I ask your opinion since you're a tech, or did I just blow it? There is a sqeaking noise (I'm thinking some belt) coming from my engine bay when I start my car up. It will go until the car is warmed up. I have 56k miles on it. Any ideas? Please don't say timing belt.

Default Burn in hell.

I kid. Your timing belt itself won't squeel. it is cogged, and can't slip, unless something else is causing it to. Your other belts, like the serp belt, are not cogged, and cal slip a bit and squeel. I have seen a few have squeeling coming from the pulley that holds the belt drive fan on it. Otherwise, anything that rotates can be causeing it, it's just a matter of hunting it down and find it. You are getting close to 60,000 miles so I would be gearing up to do or have someone do a timing belt on it around that point. I don't care what the manual says, a timing belt and rollers is ALWAYS much cheaper than a head if it let's loose. I have 2 cars sitting at work both needing heads right now. At any rate, I would have it checked out. Might just be a belt, or it might be something else that could become costly if not take care of.

Default Use S100 products instead of P21S

they are the same product but for much less money. S100 is marketed towards bikers...I think the only difference is the labeling as even the containers are the same.
