clearbra second thoughts
yo- been lurking for a few months- first post.
i'm having full frontal protection put on my 2003 denim a4 right now. when i dropped off the car this morning, i looked at some examples in the parking lot... it seems like there is a texture to the xpel... it didn't have the mirror finish that my hood has. also, the line where the bra ends looks like it could collect wax. have you guys had problems getting a mirror finish on the xpel? i'm having a custom wrap, so around 50% of my hood is covered. i usually polish and wax about every 6 weeks.

I've had mine for a year and a half on this car, and had it for close to two on my previous car (m)
You do have to be careful about wax along the edge of it. Try using a wet Q-tip to remove it right after you wax.
As far as the look, yes, it isn't perfectly smooth from certain angles. A large flat coverage area like that (50% of your hood?) will be a bit noticeable. Using IHG plus wax may help, but I'm not sure.
