Climatronic codes in '02 A4?

This may have been asked somewhere before, but I have been trying to change the Climatronic display (to show the actual digital speed, temp from other areas on the car, etc, like I've read about in the <02 model forums). I've been following the instructions, but it isn't happening for me.
Has anyone had any luck doing this?
p.s. this is my first Audi and I'm LOVING it!
