Default Close to deciding. Silver or Dolphin gray?

Just about ready to put some money down on a 1.8TA4. It looks like the dealer can either get me a silver (black interior)or dolphin gray (black interior) with my option choices. I'm leaning towards dolphin gray. But I was wondering whether the color is hotter than the silver during the summer. I'll be dealing with 100 plus degree temps for a few months a year and I'm wondering whether the dolphin will be easy to live with.

Default Either one will be hot because of the black interior. Tint is a must.

Just go and look at them side by side and it will be much easier to choose..

You're leaning towards my choice given your color options. ;-)

Default not a bad choice to have

My preference looks-wise is definitely dolphin. however, from a practicality stand-point silver will look cleaner longer than dolphin. That combined with its availability (for me) and silver being my close second choice made me pull the trigger. My last audi was silver as well.

Dolphin! I had the same choice, but the dolphin matches the unpainted rocker panels better than any other color IMHO. Plus Dolphin looks like it has a little blue in it in certain lighting, which I think is cool. EVERYONE who's seen my A4 loves the Dolphin color - even though I initially thought I wanted ming blue, now I wouldn't want it in anything but dolphin. (though I still don't understand how I ended up with beige leather interior - didn't think that color scheme was an option!).

Good luck!

Default Dolphin Gray all the way!

for me, i didn't really like the silver because of the two-tone color (bottom panel)...it really didn't rub me in the right way. i believe many people on this forum actually painted the bottom panel to match the color.

so far, dolphin is been pretty easy to clean, given that i had a black one before, dolphin is much easier to clean. And, everyone who has seen my car love the color.

We had the exact same choice (though the interior on both was platinum - with the Arizona sun, there was no way we were going to do black). We ended up going with silver - primarily because it doesn't get dirty-looking quite as fast. But the dolphin is sweet looking.
