Default Clutch pedal 'clicking' or something- clutch cyl shot?

Take up is very high. I'm hoping that's the issue and not the pressure plate.

Where's the pedal, when the clutch engages and disengages? Near the floor?

At the top, right before I take my foot off. But the clutch never feels like it disengages.

Default At the top, is normal for the OEM B6 clutch...

The clutch should be fully engaged when your foot comes off the pedal.

The "clicking" is probably a worn, plastic over-center spring.

If you remove the lower kick-panel(piece above your feet) you can actuate the clutch by hand, and see whats causing the clicking.

From a stop, hold the clutch pedal to the floor. Then in first gear, let the pedal out slowly until the clutch begins to grab, where is your clutch pedal at?

Engaged about 1" before the top, at the end of travel.

Does the clutch slip at all? Can you make it slip?

Default Not that I have noticed. In regular driving, it is hard to engage gears...

One the car is rolling, it's fine. Shifting from 1-2-3-4-5, clutch in shift to neutral feels like the clutch is half pressed.

None. I'd added a bit but that amounted to a few drops. Over a year, that's nothing.

Default It could be the clutch hydraulics(master & or slave) or the clutch itself....

With 112,000 miles...both systems have seen allot of use...

Any good shops in your area?

Or would this be a DIY project?
