used flywheel. Saved yourself about $500 easy. And no unnecessary downtime. That's what I did.

Power delivery was much better than OEM. I loved it. And considering I'll be under warranty for a while in the B6, a SB clutch is a mod I'll be doing sooner than later.

I know dealers usually try to gouge you...but I'm not buying the parts thru them and also Ive known the service adviser for years, I would think he would be honest...no?
The clutch is slipping very badly...so bad that Ive stopped driving...you don't think it needs replacement?

compromise longevity for holding power (a good an necessary compromise in the cases of people running significantly greater torque). They are not always a solution for increased long term use and many times may have a reduced lifespan but offer better holding. Engagement can also be more off/on or "jerky" feeling to the non performance driver which again is good for 1/4 mile and tracking but not always desireable for the stocker grocery getter who spends time commuting in traffic to work. Of course that depends greatly on the different aftermarket options available. And i'll add I have been nothing but impressed with the service from Southbend even when not fully satisfied with a product they have come through.
