Clutch upgrade ??
anyone do a clutch upgrade yet ??
GIAC is recommending a clutch upgrade for their new X-Chip which is due to release soon
apparently the stock motor/turbo and fuel system is good for 240hp/tq range ... however the clutch is not ... (race fuel) i believe
id like some info on clutch options

Sure. Let us know what details you find out. I am not into the clutch upgrade as of yet...
But since I am planning on a 280HP ATP Stage II Turbo Upgrade Kit, I will have to seriously be thinking about it soon.
I am dissapointed that the clutch shows signs of slippage with just chip upgrades. That seems ridiculous. I know that a Sport Clutch upgrade is a necessary thing with bigger turbo kits. But a chip? Another point that Audi doesn't want it to be easy to increase power w/o having to upgrade other things;i.e, cast pistons,.. Oh well.
