COIL PACK PROBLEM!!!! (more)

Ladies Ang Gentlemen .... The moment I have been dreding for all this time since I heard about the coil pack issue has finally happened. Last night, I pulled out of our facility in beautiful Gardena, California and ad soon as I got on the road and on my way home ... my car started to lose power, started shaking and then the check engine light started blinking. It was like an episode of the twilight zone. I was still in denial until I realized that the shaking and blinking would never go away.
I turned around, got back in the office and called my local dealer (Pacific Audi / Hermosa Beach). Thank God the service manager was working late (5:50 pm)and helped me out big time. They did not have a loaner car but managed to call Enterprise car rental and had them bring a 2003 Dodge Stratus to the dealership for me to take home. I then was instructed by the service manager to call the Roadside assistance line to get my car towed. The person on the line was really gracious and apologetic without me even sounding really pissed off. She told me that the service is taking about 90 minutes or less ... to my surprise, 15 minutes after I hung up, there it was .. the flatbed. I had mixed emotions when I saw my Oettinger A4 being hauled out ... I never expected her to suffer this way, but at least it happened before my warranty expired. I currently have 44,000 miles on my car and it is a MY2002. So, I am not totally upset about this whole situation because it was handled with sheer professionalism and impeccable service.
My thanks to the AUDI Family for handling this issue with class, and I look forward to pick her up soon!
