luckily our insurance covers $100 towards towing. Got it back home, sent the wifey to parts store and she returned with 4 STI version R's. Since I don't have vag I couldn't tell which one was bad and just replaced all 4 at same time. Big difference in power with these. Anyone else use STI brand?

if you are really really stranded, and you dont have a vag com, you may have to do the coil pack shuffle until you find the one that is bad.

as far as the kind- STI, that's my question. They have a cool STI sticker on top which makes you want to keep the engine cover off to display them. Looks kind of race like. I know its just a sticker on top but the performance is obvious. Even my wife noticed the seat of the pants feel when I changed them.
