or do they also happen on the 3.0 engine?
It just looks like most of the people having coilpack failures have a 1.8T. However, I do not know if this is due to the fact that most people in this forum have a 1.8T or if this is reprentative of a difference between 1.8T and 3.0 engines.
Does someone know?
Thanks,
Alexandre

1.6's, it happens on 3.0's, it happens on 2.4's, it happens on 2.0's.
It happens on 5 speed manuals, 6 speed manuals, 5 speed tips and infinite speed multitronics.
It wont happen if you own a 2.5 Tdi or a 1.9Tdi because those engines have no spark plugs or ignition coils.
