Default Considering a used 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro

Hi everyone. I have been wanting an A4 for like 5 years now. I thought I could quench my appetite by purchasing a Jetta VR6. It didn't work. Now I can't take it anymore and I need an A4.

My question is, has anyone on this forum bought a used 2002-2004 recently? If so, what did you pay for it? I have seen the pricing on KBB and Edmunds, but I wanted to ask your opinion on what a fair price should be.

There is a 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro that I'm considering and I got they guy down to $22,000. Should I take that or try and talk him down even more?

Thanks for your time.

Default certified? from an Audi dealer?

Id ask him how much he NEEDS to make on the deal, and you want THAT price. but if the mileage is < uh....24K, and they add on the cert warranty, I think thats prolly a good price. Edmunds is usually right on. IME.

It's from a dealer but it's not certified. It has 24,000 miles, manual, dolphin grey, with premium and sport package.

Default depends on the mileage and how much warranty is left

but sounds like a kickass deal. Does it have sport suspension?

Default Re: depends on the mileage and how much warranty is left

I'm thinking about going to grad school at USC. Small world

The warranty should be good for another 2 years/50,000 miles (the car has 24K right now). I will probably get an extended warranty when the original runs out.

I want an A4 so bad. You guys don't know how lucky you are that you already have one. Count your blessings
