Default Control Arm Question

I'm thinking about replacing my control arms and have been reading some previous posts. I called a local shop for a quote and they just called me back and told me $1000 for 4 control arms and the alignment.

I looked at the febi-bilstein kit that someone recommended and it looks like their were more 8 control arms in there. I was assuming maybe the extras were for the rear. If so do the rears need to be replaced at the same time? The car has 120k miles on it and it definitely needs the fronts.
Thanks

Default there's 4 arms per side up front. the FB kit contains all 8 plus 2 TREs

the 4 arms quoted by your shop were prolly for the 2 upper per side

Default Think about replacing the shocks while they're there...

wouldn't be much additional labor.
