Which control arms have people needed to replace and what brand? Anyone go adjustable?
I was told by my mechanic today that my upper control arm bushings are cracked and that I would need to replace the entire arms (as opposed to just the rubber part). Do people suggest I buy and entire kit and replace all upper and lower control arms, or just the uppers that are cracked? Also which brand should I go with? Febi or Meyle?
I'm looking at the PureMS website and they have adjustable control arms from Stern, and Febi-Bilstein. My mechanic said these are loud and annoying to keep clean. Anyone have any experience or advice on these?

I've had two arms replaced with Febi. Currently 3 more are worn out and need to be replaced.
My mechanic is ordering an entire kit for the front end, made by Febi. Once one arm goes the rest probably aren't too far behind.

Our adjustable arms are one option.
Contrary to your mechanic our arms are not loud or annoying to keep clean. They use OEM style bushings and will feel just like stock arms. He's probably thinking of the older CPP arms which were incredibly clunky. Those used heim joints on both ends, which transmitted clunks and vibrations right into the cabin.

Couple features..
Adds adjustability to camber and caster.
Balljoints AND bushings are now both serviceable, extending the lifespan of the arms. If you intend to keep the car a while, this can cut down on costs long term.
