Coolant leak, I can see it...

So this is my first post, looking for help in solving a coolant leak on my 1.8t engine. Before the winter I had the timing belt and water pump done at a local shop. Not sure if their workmanship caused this but I've noticed a slow coolant leak, finally got it out of the garage to look at it today and found what I think is the source, trouble is I don't really know what I'm looking at.
I posted some pictures oh where I see coolant leaking from. Haven't started the car in over a month, and after wiping the valve or whatever it is dry minutes later it was wet with coolant again.
Any help in explaining what this is and if you know the fix. Thanks!

That is a coolant bleeder valve. A quote from oldguy2:
"That leak is pretty typical. It's the coolant bleeder valve. Since you have an '05 yours is plastic. Order a new one before you mess with it since it will probably break in half when you go to remove it.
If that happens just use a straight blade screwdriver, heat the tip a little with a propane torch and press it down into the broken portion. The screwdriver will melt into the threaded section and you can use the screwdriver to unscrew the threads. "

Yep - what lyleswk said.
The plastic bleed screw is #WHT000316, metal one (which has same thread) is #N90534203. There about $6 each.
If you stuff up the metal pipe, its part number 06B121070H and is about $30.
The plastic bleeder is a pain, I replaced mine 3 years ago, the new one broke recently, so I just put a metal one on the week before my son wrote the car off.

thread bump.
I recently posted regarding a leak from my bleeder screw and didnt realise at the time the actual top of the screw and a small way down has broken.
I want to re order the part but based on the part numbers here I keep getting the part for BMW. Will this be compatible and does anyone know where in the UK I can obtain one? As all seem to be outside of UK when trying to order online.
If anyone has the thread size, even better.
Thanks in advance
