coolant leak -- replacing thermostat housing

Searched the archive but didn't find good answer. Coolant started to leak intermittenly, and took it to local shop (out of warranty, 2002 a4 b6 with 77k miles). Identified as leaking from thermostat housing, and he says ~$130 parts plus 3 hours labor. I know quite a few people here had same problem / remedy. Does that cost sounds reasonable?
TIA,
Joe

i'd say you should contact a local tuner. David from e-code tuning does excellent diagnostic work.
The rates you're quoting sound like standard rates.. i'd do some shopping around, get a few quotes and then negotiate with whoever you feel comfortable with.
Just my 2 cents~
hope it helps! =]
