Coolant. Leak under the exhaust manifold mess on top of tranny.

Coolant. Leak under the exhaust manifold mess on top of tranny.
I'm leakin coolant under the exhaust manifold. Looks like a lot is coming out of somewhere, are there any cooland lines under the exhaust manifold and does any one have a diagram. I asume it is the coolant flange. What is the best way to see it and how do you get to it?

is it under the exhaust manifold or in the back of the engine towards the firewall?
theres a difference. although I gather its the latter since its on your tranny, in that case its the coolant flange. there was a write up on how to get to it on here I believe, it might be B5 but I think theres actually more room with the B6. There are also pictures of a B6 I recall seeing.

There is coolant into then out of the turbo. If one of those connections is leaking, ...
then the coolant can travel along the bottom of the exhaust manifold, then drip off onto the transmission.

I had a coolant leak a month ago. In my case, it was a broken valve which you can see
when you remove the engine cover. When the car was lifted while doing exhaust work, it looked like some major spill as it was travelling along the transmission, too.
