If your oil pump fails, your coolant temps will go up a WHOLE lot- Then you hear an explosion.

Default Not always,
The oil pump usually fails intermittently, tanslated, does not provide enough pressure while you are on boost...GET IT FIXED ASAP. Happened to me at 39,000 miles
