I can't give direct same color comparison, however
Leather takes on the characteristics of the outside temperature MUCH more than leatherette.
What do I mean? In the winter, leather gets VERY VERY cold, in the summer, leather gets VERY VERY hot! Leathertte, being that it is a vinyl base, doesn't take on the extremes of the weather as much. It stays more in moderate ranges.
Now with that in mind, what I've also found is that leather adjusts to changes in temperature quicker. So when it's hot as nuts in the summer and you crank the A/C, the leather cools down much faster, and the opposite in the summer.
So it's really a tough call. I like the adjusting characteristics of leather much more, because even if it is really hot or really cold, a few minutes in the direct flow of A/C, or with my body heat on it, it will warm up. But than there is that initial "shock" period of an overly hot or overly cold leather seat to contend with.
