I recently had my car in for service and they told me that i needed to replace my cooling control module which is located right by the front hood latch. My car was overheating at idle and ac wouldn't work right. So last night my battery dies on my and i dont know why, i got it pushed and pop clutch start it again.. The car was dead again this morning when i fiqured out the fans are turning on.. Then today i replaced the cooling fan module and now this problem won't go away... but my car doesn't over heat at idle and ac works good. so i disconnected the wire going to the harness so the fans won't turn on when the car is off cause it drains my battery.. Is there a vag code i can recode with ? TIAS

The problem could be the secondary air pump operating with ignition off. It will run the battery down overnight. The problem is a relay switch. The Audi part number 141-951-253-B.
