I tried the recommended pressures, too (I have '03 3.0 w/17" & sport)

I found the ride far too mushy and the car "felt" sluggish. I find 36PSI all around to be ideal. Crisp ride but not too harsh.

Just my $0.02...

nah its called heavy nose and failure to rotate :)

some people run more air up front but that changes the dynamics of the suspension i spose.
