I didnt mean you did it, I just mean your so nervous about it, you make yourself sound guilty for something you didnt do.
you know you didnt do it, so no reason to make an issue of it, you certainly dont need to point it out to them. If they point it out to you make it clear it was there and you had nothing to do with how it got there.
I was given a 99 avant to take out once as a loaner and that thing looked like it served our country in battle.

Oh okay, sorry about that.
I feel much better today. I have had the car since yesterday morning. They didn't even tell me they were going to keep it in for another day. I feel at ease becasue u guys r a great help. I needed the support.
But som say I should call them and tell them of the damage, yet others say don't say anything. But if I don't say anything if the next guy that gets the car as a loaner sees the damage and tell's them they may think it was I that did it.
What to do? Or should I tell them in person?

I vote no. but thats my opinion, I guess you should do whatever you feel more comfortable with. the only advice I can share now, is dont phone that one in. if you decide to let them know, wait till you return it and approach it as a "hey listen I thought you should know about this". but if i remember your original post correctly the car was dirty and such, I tend to doubt they wont even care too much.
either way I wish you luck and dont worry about it. I seriously doubt they could make any argument with you and the last thing they want to do is **** off a customer and lose business, especially since they know they have no proof.
that dog just wont hunt.

Hey Guys,
Okay so I decided to just talk to the stealership about the scuff makrs in person. I brought it up after I got my keys back. I asked when the car was last serviced. Then I complained about how filthy it was (inside and out). And then I said it also had a few scuff marks on the rear driver side fender. And the service rep said oh yeah we know about that. Gotta get that fixed.
Man was that ever a relief. I felt like a new man. I just wish they had told me about it from the get go.
Anyways, thanks to everyone for all your advice and help. U guys rock!
