Default Cover for battery and brake fluid in rear of engine compartment
Do the '04 A4's have the plastic cover over the battery and break fluid reservoir. My '01 had this cover and on the new A4 it looks like there should be one, but it's not there.

Mine was in the trunk under the spare tire cover when i bought it.

Yes. My 2004 A4 has a cover for the battery and brake fluid area.

Default Sorry I don't, but my 03 has a cover there
and I really doubt that Audi got cheap and decided to remove that cover on the 04s.

I was told the cover was discontinued because stupid people kept breaking it. (salesman told me that)
Too bad. I think it looked better w/cover.
