As far as the stuff from VAGCOM you put in the thread, that looks like a bunch of config stuff, not the actual codes. The codes are much shorter and succinct.

As far as not starting, when this happened to me, it was the ESS, or engine speed sensor. This should pop up in the codes area of VAGCOM. Link below which has a second link to a DIY.

Don't see anything in that list which would not allow the car to start and never read a situation where it wouldn't start without any indication why. Did this just suddenly happen? Are there any lights at all? Any maintenance / repairs / dead battery / rain / etc, etc?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to ON? That's the problem I have at the moment... no fuel pump noise. Although my relay is good and the pump kicks on when I jump the fuse.

It clicks but doeant prime. Since address 1 and 2 don't show I am worries it is the ecu or ecu relay. From what I was reading it is relay 30 so I am going to see if I can play with that.

Very heavy rain but nothing other than that. Never had starting issues before this.

How are your drains working under the ECU or do you feel a damp driver's side carpet?

I cant test the ecu but did jump the fan relay and the fan kicked on when I tried cranking (relay that powers ecu?). I really think it is the ecu, or a wiring issue, but have no idea how to replace it without going to a dealer. Worried if I buy a used ecu for $100 on eBay the Immobilizer will screw that up for me. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would check the relays underneath the ECU first. You may find them corroded and ust need replacing. Make sure you get the drains working while it is apart.
