*nod* You'll have to look elsewhere for plugs - how large are the holes? (more)
If they're small, you can buy plugs for the Porsche front license plate screw holes, or similar and paint them with a little touch-up paint for your car (from the dealer).
I had gotten a custom European license plate (the German EEC one was nice) for my last car from: http://www.customlicenseplates.com/europeanplatespage.html

Ask on the A4 (96-01) forum...
...I've seen guys use body color pained plugs to fill the infamous license place holes.
If you order a car, always tell your salesman that if they install the front plate bracket, the deal's off. It's worked for me 3 times for me, thus far.

You let the dealer drill holes in your bumper??!!
Make a trip to Home Depot / Lowe's. They have assorted plastic plugs that will neatly fill the holes. Paint 'em body color and you're good to go.

We have a traveling van in houston that goes from dealer to dealer and they will fill, sand, and
paint your bumper while you wait for $300. I saw it done on someone's car and you never would have known the holes were once there.
