Curious, anyone ever do a software upgrade due to revisions?

I'm guessing that tuners do release new revisions of their software from time to time?

If this is true, has anyone gone and had their "older" software be re-flashed with the newer revisions?

I had APR 1+ V1 upgraded to V2

Well worth the $40 cost to "update" the software approx a year and half ago ...
